It moves closer to me
With every passing day
My mentality begins to crumble
All because of my age.

This time on earth
Has been endured
But soon I'm gone
Even life's not insured.

But I don't bring 
A feeling of negativity
This life alone
Is a short lived captivity.

A few years to prove
Your soul's good or bad
Too bad that I've failed
And will die very sad.

But to those 
In the future and beyond
Live lives to the fullest
And then you're gone.

Take care of those
Things you hold dear
It is your body you see
Worldly possesions stay here
