Home: Poetry: Matthew J. Dunham: Oh Where is Love?

i walk down the street, and see the happy pairs,

lovers strolling hand in hand, p'raps something in the air.

i relfect upon my state, my singularity,

i choke back feelings of despair, theres someone made for me.

i wonder what she looks like, who she is and where,

why does she hide her face from me, her face, flawless and fair?

i know someday i'll find my love my soulmate tried and true,

till then i sit, and wait, and hope...till then, my love...adieu...
