To take this life, I will, within time, have another, and faded memories will once again become true, in child innocence I will grow and learn once more, for you cannot kill me. And heaven is a palace where sinful fools reside, ruled by an O mighty for whom they serve and obey, where my dreams dare not travel, avoiding temptation, for my own life is hell. But as I continue on this infinite journey, treading along endless paths worn down by my own feet, I watch another soul put to blissful rest on high, but only life can defeat death. |
