Home: Poetry: Dave Person: To Love, My Lady

As the sun sets across the distant plain
Dreams are carried upon the hearts of angels
In winds of heaven, to touch
With the brillance of a thousand stars
That light up the night sky
On distant shores
Such will be thy guide upon my journey
Be thy kiss give blessing on the path
That lay before the coursing of the elements
Love bound on winds of spring rain
Gentle caress played upon the waters
Of beauty rising
Calm before the tempest
Be thy touch bind on the gate
Rise above clammoring ground
Soft earth stand with heart song
Against the swells of night
Hear my voice sing into the heavens
Winds of angels smiling
Embrace in moonlight.
